No one was there for lunch except for a few people in the bar. I ordered a 1/2 lb burger with an egg,bacon, and medium doneness. I got a well done burger that was a slop of a mess and could only eat it with my fork. My wife had a salad that was good but way too big for lunch. The table was clean to look at it but sticky to the touch. We didn't want to put our hands on it. Service was adequate.

I stop there about once a week. Staff is really nice and attentive. They have a nice outside seating area and even allow us to bring our small dog with us when we want. Sometimes they have live music and karaoke. It’s a good time.

This was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. When we arrived, our server, Monica, walked past us three separate times before finally acknowledging us. When she did, there was no greeting or welcome—just a blunt “Did you guys need something?” No menus were offered, no explanation of how to order, and no basic courtesy. We ordered two pizzas to go, which she silently indicated was fine. However, when she later dropped the check on the table, she didn’t say a word—just set it down and walked away. When I asked if they accepted Apple Pay, she responded nonverbally, pursing her lips and shaking her head in a way that came across as dismissive and rude. A simple “no, we don’t” would have taken two seconds. At that point, my sister felt uncomfortable enough to step outside. We debated leaving but decided to give the place a chance since it had been highly recommended and we’d wanted to try it since moving here. Another waiter came by to take our card, and when we mentioned how rude our original server had been, our comment was completely ignored. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. Another place marked off the list!!! Today I had lunch with my wife and 2 of my boys at the Republic Icehouse. I’m not sure why I’ve never ate here before, but I’m sure glad I stopped in today. Aside from the cesar salad (lettuce was slightly wilted in places and browning) everything else we ordered was really good. I ordered the stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños as an appetizer. They came out nice and hot. We all enjoyed those, seeing as they were gone 5 minutes after they were set on the table. They weren’t spicy at all for all my fellow wimps reading this. I got the parmesan chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was tender and lightly breaded. It had a good amount of mozzarella and the marinara wasn’t too much at all. The sourdough bun was nicely toasted as well. I really enjoyed the fries and so did everyone else. They reminded me of a skinnier version of Jucy’s fries. One of my boys ordered a regular chicken sandwich, which happened to be absolutely massive and the other ordered a patty melt. Both of them really liked their food and had no complaints. Coming early on a Wednesday isn't the best if you're looking for a party atmosphere, but it is calmer in here. Made to order food takes a bit, but everything is delicious. Blue cheese dressing is a bit thin though.
